Bio

Simon Tarr made his first film at the age of 8, a science fiction epic drawn out on long strip of sandwich bags. The movie premiered on the wall of his bathroom, using a lamp inside a shoebox as the projector with a magnifying glass on the end of a toilet paper tube as the lens. The film completely melted in seconds.

Since then his films have screened on every continent (yes, even Antarctica), he tours with his live VJ performances, and he teaches New Media Art at the University of South Carolina.

He sincerely tries to write biographical information in the third person with a straight face.
